  • no two mirrors are ever the same

If I never see you again
and I wonder upon your thoughts
    as you catch my gaze
    and I yours-
    was a second's hesitation
    cause for a lifetime's reflection?

  • we can't score 1 in the 2nd half, but we can score 2

I've been in DEEP weakness these past days, sometimes semi-conscious, but well enough to watch some World Cup games, and how disappointing Brazil were. They are not so much overweight, but weighed down by expectation, and look EXTREMELY arrogant in my opinion.
England are some way behind them though, but their own expectation has drawn them down too, but thank heavens they did win 2-0 last night, bringing my loudest cry of the year so far!!!

England should worry, but not unduly, as Holland have an equally big expectation, played their opening game in similar vain, and faded. France did even worse, with a fabulous line-up, and Germany, though deserving their win against Poland, really did NOT get much global praise for scoring the winner so late against a resilient Poland team.

The teams to watch are Ecuador, Portugal, Spain and Argentina...perhaps Italy too.
But my heart is banking on England!

Now I will continue my heavy medication, but will try to reply all the lovely comments from you dear people!
