Music, cheer, song and smiles
-the dominating features
of my Philippine days
no-one wants farewell
least of all me
I'm wishing for more-
all-embracing life
I've seen the heart's of Gold
the real Pearl of the Orient
with nothing seen deeply
(to the untrained and pampered visitor)
these islands have everything
the people are my teachers
western decadance disgarded
all one needs is Life
and a heartful of Love
a smile upon the face,
food on the plate...
England's 'nanny state',
or this Pacific paradise?
regulation or meditation
the choice supplied the answer.
