theatre of dreams

you'll hear me when I turn to the left
their instruction,
breaths life into darkness
shooting pain into my light
I can 'create' re-creation once more
but only out of necessity
to escape the present
to run from a surgical prod
to gorge out a hideaway
to find my lightning
that moved before the needle
as I lay waste and bare
consciously barricading
against pains love of speed
it moves unhindered
to find the quickest exit
whereby eyes may again show life
through the passing of storms
air becomes fresher
thoughts clearer
colours brighter
and life envigoured and rejuvinated.

from today's operation, behind closed eyes.

well, in the car today it was 38.5c degrees, outside touched 34, and now still 27...lovely~~~
