I just came online for a few minutes, from my day of near total medicated rest and spinal (fusion) recovery, to post this beautiful and delicate French animation. It's very detailed, atmospheric, touching...subtle.
It is simply beautiful...

The work of perfection!!
Such animation has caught my attention this week, and this work especially, an exquisite black and white animation of style.
We can be lost in it's futuristic dark world...a little of Metropolis, a little of your worst nightmares, but also something more...I loved it...what do you think? -

This has taken control of my afternoon, watching it three times now, and enjoying it to a great degree.
As the titles say, the way to reach true knowledge, in it's original Chinese characters, depicted here in animation form.
In view of what I've been through these past months, hovering to and from subconscious, even unconscious states, the cycle of life has taken a new meaning, and particularly a new form altogther...indeed, I've seen places while being cut open on a surgeon's table that can only be partly interpreted.So, back to this animation, which has a meaning, in it's void; the circle of life, the cycle of life, we may grab or snatch, glimpse or glean, but never hold onto it's true meaning for more than a second. Perhaps we can at two key moments in 'life'...please enjoy "Ephemeral Epiphany"...it's not comfortable, but it does take you aside...
