When all is used up...
it empties
before it ever filled up
those silent captivitiesof hurt unfurling
before my very eyes
the world a whirling
unable to surmisethe devils work and whereabouts
of disheartening grief 'unsprung'
in elements of surprise casting doubts
upon my emotional camber where I got stungfog now cancels the progressive path
such postponement of hope is defenceless
the unspoken weapon of dividing wrath
leaving me rooted and numbingly branchlessmeaningless minutes pass unnoticed
time is nothing when it passes in silence
raiding continually where the heart's at it's remotest
help...in the spirit of deepest condolenceragged are my feelings travelling in despair
passing here and there, rallentando fashion
am I gone, is it finished, is there no repair -
an empty heart awaits another's warming compassion...© 2008wensum24

When all is used up...
What keeps us going?
Hello again dear friends,
My day has been something of a struggle. These past three days have become progressively worse, and steadily more difficult, with movements being greatly restricted. However, I want to continue the momentum if possible, and not give in to the malaise and depression of some very unforeseen and unexpected hurdles I have encountered in my recent life, some this week.
Thanks for everyones help regarding The Lightning Process, which gives me a lot to think about, as my fatigue is going to be longterm, this is certainly an option.
It made me think though, what actually keeps you going dear friends?
Is it motivation?
Profession?
Family?
Self-belief?
Love?
Hope?
Curiosity?
Desire to seek a better life?
Or, a wish to help the earth upon which we depend?
Today, asking myself, I really am not sure of my answer.
Take care everyone.
Love,
Ed
